LTO suspends operations starting tomorrow

March 22, 2020

THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) announced the suspension of its operations across the entire Luzon starting tomorrow until April 13 due to the enhanced community quarantine.

The LTO said it will be waiving penalties for all late renewals of driver’s license and vehicle registrations for at least a month while the country is under threat by the deadly coronavirus 2019 or COVID-19.

LTO-Traffic Enforcer unit director and National Capital Region-West chief Atty. Clarence Guinto, along with regional director assistant Roque “Rox” Versoza, were tasked to dispatch LTO personnel to assist in giving rides to frontliners.
