AT LEAST P1 million worth of laboratory equipment was donated by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) to the National Police (PNP) Regional Health Service 11.
PCSO General Manager Royina Marzan-Garma said PCSO officials handed the laboratory equipment to Regional Director PBGen. Filmore B. Escobal during a turnover ceremony at the Camp Merecido, Davao City.
The PCSO is committed to the public to provide medical equipment to qualified government hospitals and other health facilities intended to enhance their capability in providing quality health care to indigent patients.
“These will be very useful to the personnel of the PNP Region 11 during their physical examination,” Garma said.
“Instead of referring them to have their laboratory procedures outside the camp, they may use the equipment without any cost,” she added.
