THE United States Embassy in the Philippines yesterday announced that visa interviews both for immigrant and non-immigrant applicants are cancelled until May 31 following the extension of the enhanced community quarantine in the Philippines.
In its advisory, the Embassy said "the US Embassy in the Philippines is cancelling all immigrant and non-immigrant visa interviews scheduled through May 31 due to the extension of the Philippine enhanced community quarantine measures to reduce the spread of covid 19."
The Embassy said they will resume routine visa services as soon as possible.
However, the advisory said at this time, it cannot provide yet a specific date of the resumption of visa services.
The Embassy advised all affected applicants that after the enhanced community quarantine is lifted in Metro Manila, they should reschedule their visa interviews through the Embassy call center by phone at +63(2)7792-8988 and +63(2)8548-8223 or through the online appointment system at ustraveldocs.com/ph.
