No pinoys in Crimea shooting

THE Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said no Filipinos were among the casualties in a shooting spree in Crimea and extended its sympathies to the families of the 20 persons who were killed at Kerch Polytechnic College.
The DFA also hoped for the fast recovery of the almost 40 injured.
In his report to the Home Office, Ambassador to Russia Carlos D. Sorreta said that no Filipinos were reported to be among the casualties in the incident.
Sorreta said an 18-year-old student was responsible for the shooting.
Authorities said he later killed himself at the site of the attack.
Three days of mourning in Crimea have been declared from Thursday.
