GENERAL Trias City, Cavite -- Local police operatives collared 10 drug suspects in only one-and-a-half hours of anti-drug operations in populated Bgy. San Francisco, on Wednesday.
Supt. Paul Bometivo, local police chief, identified the suspects as Usman Sarip Alangadi, alias Usman, 37, native of Marawi City, married, vendor; Renaldo Bate Aque, 40, of Misamis Occidental, single, jobless; Jeffrey Balodong Aguirre, 28, single, jobless; and Mary Jane Olasiman Alolor, 25, single, jobless; Ronilo Bangcolo Pakingan, a.k.a Onel, 35, married, construction worker, of Tropical Village Pabahay 2000, this city; Jerwin Susana Bawalan, 24, single, jobless; Jayson Bawalan Mojica, 32, married, jobless, all caught in Sitio Bahayang Pag-asa 2000, San Francisco; Aira Sarip Tabocun, alias Aira, 38, native of Lanao del Sur, married, jobless; Mohanif Ganda Masser Hadjimanan, 24, of Lanao del Sur, single, factory worker; and Ramza Sarip Macaayong, 20, of Lanao del Sur, single, vendor, all of Sitio Santosan, Bgy. Mangahan, this city.
Members of GenTri Drug Enforcement Team confiscated 18 sachets of suspected shabu, P3,500 in marked money, in three police anti-drug operations in two villages.
The 10 suspects were placed under the custody of General Trias City Police Station (CPS) and facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Art 2 of RA 9165.
The recovered pieces of evidence were brought to Cavite Crime Laboratory in Imus City for examination.
“Patuloy po tayong magsasagawa ng anti-drug operations sa ating lungsod upang malinis natin ang syudad sa illegal na droga,” Supt. Bometivo said.
