14 liquor ban, curfew violators nabbed in Ecija city

SAN JOSE CITY – Despite the repeated warnings on curfew regulation and liquor ban due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people simply won’t listen.

Police said some 14 individuals learned this lesson the hard way after they were all rounded up during separate stings conducted here on Monday at 9 p.m.

City police head Lt. Col. Heryl Bruno identified those arrested as Joseph Valdez, 28; George Valdez, 28; Paolo Batara, 19; Richard Graneta, 32; Angel Bert Valdez, 38; Jordan Valdez, 25; Jay Jay Batara, 33; all of Bgy. Sibut;

Edwin Padilla, 37; Ronald Rivera, 48; Matt Canaveral, 32; Henry Aguinaldo, 38; all of Bgy. Abar 1st; Darvie Aguinaldo, 20; Mark Anthony Tomas, 29; both of Bgy. Crisanto Sanchez; and Larry Valdez, 27, of Bgy. Abar 2nd, all of this city.

Bruno said the arrested suspects were all taken to the police station for proper disposition and the filing of appropriate criminal cases.
