TWO members of Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) including a follower of ASG top leader Radulan Sahiron surrendered to the military troops at the height of intense military offensives on the ground on Monday.

This was confirmed yesterday by AFP-Western Mindanao Command (Westmincom) spokesman Colonel Gerry Besana.

They surrendered at around 4 p.m. on Monday to the soldiers of 2nd Special Forces Battalion.

The surrenderers handed over an M16 rifle and a Garand rifle.

Record showed that Annuddin is a member of Radulan Sahiron’s group, while Ammad is a follower of late sub-leader Alhabsy Misaya.

The surrenderers were presented to Brigadier General Ariel Felicidario III, 1101st Brigade commander, at the headquarters of the 21st Infantry Battalion in Barangay Danag, Patikul.
