2 Bulacan inmates yield shabu

TWO inmates at the Meycauayan City police station jail found themselves in deeper trouble after they were found in possession of shabu during a surprise inspection of their cell, a Bulacan Police Provincial Office report said.

Jonathan Adona and Jaymar Badillo  yielded six  plastic sachets of shabu during the conduct of  “Oplan: Galugad” at the Meycauayan City police jail, said Bulacan police director Colonel Chito G. Bersaluna.

The two inmates were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory for a drug test while charges for illegal possession of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against them.

Bersaluna has ordered Meycauayan City police chief Lt. Col. Aquino Olivar to conduct a thorough investigation into how the drugs found their way into the suspects’ cell despite a supposed to be strict checking of all bags and belongings of jail visitors.
