POLICE Regional Office 2 director Brigadier General Crizaldo O. Nieves yesterday announced the arrest of two ‘”high value individuals” in Cagayan Valley following separate buy-busts in Isabela province.
In a report to Philippine National Police chief General Archie Francisco F. Gamboa, Nieves identified the two as Marlon Francisco Jr., a 22-year-old SK member; and Joey Gragasin, 46, a welder.
Francisco, a resident of Purok 6, Bgy. Minante in Cauayan City, Isabela, was arrested after he sold shabu to an undercover officer on Atienza Street in Purok 2, Bgy. Minante around 11:50 p.m. on Friday.
Gragasin, of Bgy. Simimbaan in Roxas municipality, yielded three plastic sachets containing shabu, a marked P500 bill and a mobile phone he used in transacting with a poseur, when he was arrested around 6:40 p.m. on Saturday.
“We are filing non-bailable charges for sale and possession of dangerous drugs under the suspect specifically Francisco who has been considered as a high-value target since he is an elected public official,” Nieves said.
