ANGELES City -- Two Chinese nationals were arrested for allegedly killing and burning the body of another Chinese in Barangay Sapangbato in this city.

Suspect Huang Zhiejie, 23, of Rosewood Subdivision in Barangay Cutcut, was arrested in Scoreboard Hotel early Thursday morning while the second suspect, Yang Lulin alias “Aki,” of Astron Condominium in Clark Hills, Clark Freeport Zone, was arrested by a police tracker team in Carmona, Cavite Thursday evening.

The two are primary suspects in the stabbing and shooting  of Chinese businessman Leng Li Fu, 30, of Fontana Leisure Park, in Clark Freeport Zone.

The victim’s charred body was discovered inside a burnt Toyota Fortuner he rented at an isolated area in Barangay Sapangbato last August 11.

Police station 5 commander Maj. Philip John Pineda said the identities of the suspects were established with the help of CCTV footages.

In a report to city police director Col. Patrick Joyce Sangalang, Pineda said the three Chinese men were inside Huang Zhiejie’s house on the night of August 10 and had a heated argument.

Yang Lulin pulled a knife and stabbed Feng Li Fu several times. He then pulled a gun and shot the victim in the head.

The two suspects carried the victim’s lifeless body inside the rented Toyota Fortuner and drove towards an isolated place in Barangay Sapangbato where they set the victim’s body  and the vehicle on fire.

Police tracked the whereabouts of Yang Lulin after telling Huang Zhiejie to make a call to him.

The two suspects will be charged with murder and arson before the City Prosecutor’s Office here.
