TWO drug traffickers were killed in a shootout with Bulacan policemen in Angat town the other day while three others were arrested in a series of anti-narcotics operations in the province, Bulacan Police Provincial Office director Senior Superintendent Chito G. Bersaluna said yesterday.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Chief Supt. Joel Napoleon M. Coronel, the official identified one of the slain suspects as an alias “Totoy Baba,”while the others remained unidentified.
Bersaluna said two loaded .38 revolvers, five plastic sachets of shabu and four plastic packets with dried marijuana leaves were recovered from the suspects’ possession.
Separate buy-busts in Norzagaray and Calumpit resulted in the arrest of three suspects identified as Noel Mendoza, 25; Zyrus Neil Tamayo, 31; and Michael Loui Faustino, 28.
They yielded 11 plastic sachets of shabu and and marked money.
