2 Metro residents yield P3.4M shabu in Pampanga

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Two men from Metro Manila were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the police along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Dolores here on Tuesday night.

In a report submitted to PDEA Director General WilkinsVillanueva, PDEA-3 Chief Christian Frivaldo identified the arrested suspects as Rafael Millo, 22, resident of Caloocan City; and Romela Gerardo, 45, resident of Navotas City.

The buy-bust yielded one transparent resealable bag containing 500 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P3,400,000.

Frivaldo said the operation was jointly conducted with PDEA Calabarzon, PRO-3 Police Drug Enforcement Unit, and the local police here.

Violation of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to section 26 (conspiracy to sell) of Republic Act 9165 is being readied for filing against the suspects.
