TWO construction workers, who were involved in illegal drug activities, were nabbed by operatives of Drug Enforcement Team (DET) during anti-illegal drug operation in Sitio STI, Bgy. Pulong Sta. Cruz, Sta. Rosa City, the other day.
Police Regional Office 4A officer-in-charge Chief Supt. Christopher Tambungan identified the arrested suspects as Dionisio Castillo Eraga Jr., 25, and Conrado Enrile de Jesus, 56, both resident of Sitio STI, Bgy. Pulong.
The duo, according to Supt. Eugene Orate, Sta. Rosa police chief, were included on the drug watchlist of Sta. Rosa police this year.
The Drug Enforcement Team led by Chief Insp. Reyna do Vitto, thru the help of the community, caught the suspects who were conspiring to sell a small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu worth P500.
Recovered from Castillo Eraga Jr. were nine transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, a marked P500 bill and two pieces of P100 bills.
The arrested suspects and the pieces of evidence were brought to Santa Rosa Police Station for proper disposition before forwarding them to PNP Regional Crime Laboratory Office-4A in Camp Vicente Lim in Calamba City for laboratory examination.
