THREE armed drug trafficking suspects were killed in separate buy-bust operations in Bulacan on Wednesday which ended up in gunbattles, a report to Police Regional Office 3 director, Chief Superintendent Joel Napoleon M. Coronel said yesterday.
The slain suspects were identified as Ryan Daquiz alias ‘Ulo,’ a 20-year old former Oplan: Tokhang surrenderer in Pulilan; Novem Jornales alias ‘Bam,’ 39, a resident of no. 0286 Barangay Sto. Niño in Plaridel municipality and one alias ‘Reynaldo Bukol.’
Daquiz was killed in a firefight with members of the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Pulilan Municipal Police Station in Purok 2, Bgy. Tibag at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, said local police chief, Supt. Gil Domingo.
Recovered from the slain suspect’s possession were one caliber .38 revolver with four live ammunition and two spent cartridges, three heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, three plastic packets with dried marijuana leaves and the marked money he received from an undercover officer.
