THREE “high-value” drug targets in Central Visayas were arrested by agents of the Police Regional Office 7 in a series of buy-bust operations in Cebu City over the weekend which resulted in the confiscation of over P3.4 million worth of shabu.
PRO7 director Brigadier General Debold M. Sinas yesterday said one of the suspects identified as Ursulino Masang Alfafara alias “Bulingon,” 40, of Sitio Puntod Alaska, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City, was arrested during an entrapment in Sitio Duco, Bgy. Duljo Fatima.
Recovered from the suspect’s possession were 11 plastic sachets containing at least 505 grams of shabu worth P3.434 million and the boodle money topped by two marked P500 bills.
The second suspect, Jose Alan Roble, 20, of General Maxilum Avenue Extension, Sitio Negative in Bgy. Carreta, was arrested after he sold around 50 grams of shabu valued at P340,000 to a poseur near his residence.
Sinas said Roble is allegedly a member of a notorious drug syndicate operating in the city.
The third suspect was identified as Roy Fiel Ahig, 48, of F. Llamas Street in Bgy. Tisa, was nabbed in a buy-bust on A. Lopez Street, in Bgy. Labang.
The suspect yielded seven sachets containing around 75 grams of suspected shabu worth P510,000 and the boodle money topped by two P500 bills.
