3 Koronadal drug dealers fall

THREE notorious drug dealers in Koronadal City were arrested by local anti-narcotics operatives in separate buy-bust operations last Saturday and yesterday which led in the confiscation of nearly P15,000 worth of shabu, Police Regional Office 12 director, Brigadier General Alfred S. Corpus reported.

The suspects were identified as Rudy Villa, a 56-year-old resident of Purok Perry, Barangay Namnama, Koronadal City, Rolaine James Zaldivar,36, of Purok Guadalupe, Bgy. Zone 3 and Rusty Rasonable,30.

Corpus said that members of the Koronadal City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Villa and Zaldivar after they conspired to sell shabu to an undercover officer in Pinto Subdivision in Purok Nagkakaisa, Bgy. Zone 3 last Saturday.

Recovered from the suspects’ possession were three heat-sealed plastic sachets containing some P3,000 worth of the so-called ‘poor man’s cocaine’ and two marked P500 bills.

Another sting in Purok Dalayawon in Bgy. General Paulino Santos past 2 a.m. yesterday resulted in the arrest of Rasonable who yielded some P12,000 worth of shabu and a marked P500 bill.

All three suspects would be facing non-bailable charges for sale and possession of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, said Corpus.
