FOUR suspected armed drug dealers were killed while 47 were hauled to jail by agents of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office in separate anti-crime and anti-drug raids in the province last Tuesday and Wednesday, local police director, Senior Superintendent Chito G. Bersaluna announced yesterday.
Latest to be shot dead in an anti-narcotics operation in Barangay Masuso in Pandi municipality was Rizaldy Peregrino, a resident of Bgy. San Pedro, San Jose del Monte City who exchanged fire with undercover officers at 11 p.m. Wednesday, said the official in a report to Police Regional Office 3 director, Chief Supt. Joel Napoleon M. Coronel.
The other three slain suspects were identified as Alvin Sape, Jovan Magtanong and Jayson Samonte alias ‘Barok Geronimo.’
He said Sape and Magtanong, both included in the priority drug list of the San Jose del Monte City Police Station and their Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council watch list were killed in separate firefights in the city.
Magtanong, a resident of Block 12 in Bgy. San Rafael 4 was gunned down after exchanging fire with officers about to arrest him after he sold a packet of shabu to a poseur in his community around 11:05 p.m. Tuesday.
On the other hand, Sape was killed in a shootout with members of the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Meycauayan City police in Bgy. San Rafael.
Samonte was shot dead during a firefight with officers in Northville 3 in Bgy. Bayugo, Meycauayan City at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
