4 nabbed for guns, shabu in Batangas

POLICE the other day reported that they arrested four persons in separate drug buy-bust operations in Lemery, Batangas.

Lemery Municipal Police Station commander Major Garman G. Manabat identified the suspects as Renerio Dimailig alias Rene, Rowena Mendoza alias Wena and partners Justin Mendoza, 33, and  30-year-old Anarose Cano, both residents of 2438 Yangco St. Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila.

Manabat said Dimailig and Mendoza were handcuffed around 2 p.m. in Bgy. Arumahan after the drug transactions and recovered three plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing more-or-less eight grams with an estimated street value of P34, 000 along with buy-bust money, one Colt MK IV cal. 45 pistol, one magazine, seven live bullets for cal. 45, and a cal. 22 sub-machine gun with an inserted magazine without a bullet.

Mendoza and Cano, on the other hand, were also arrested at the said village late afternoon in a drug dealing and seized two clear plastics containing suspected shabu weighing more-or-less seven grams with an estimated street value of P 24, 000, including buy-bust money, 16 P1, 000 bills boodle money and one 9mm revolver loaded with 4 live ammo.
