5 blast suspects indicted

THE Sulu Provincial Prosecutors Office yesterday indicted five persons tagged in the recent bombing of the Jolo Cathedral before the Jolo regional trial court.

An information for the complex crime of multiple murder with multiple frustrated murder were filed against Mukammar L. Pay alias ‘Kammah’, Albaji K. Gadjali alias ‘Apah’, Radjan B. Gadjaliq, Kaiser Gadjali and Said Alih.

“The suspects have been named respondents in the cases for multiple murder, multiple frustrated murder and damage to property filed by Sulu Police Provincial Office, Camp P/Supt. Julasirim Ahadin Kasim, Asturias, Jolo, Sulu,” the Department of Justice said in a statement.

Sources disclosed the DoJ would seek the transfer of the cases’ venue to Metro Manila.

Authorities were still hunting down the other suspects who remained at large, namely:  Hatib Hajan Sawadjaan alias ‘Imam’, Usman Absara alias ‘Usman’, Barak Ingog alias ‘Bars/Barak’ and Makrim Habisi alias ‘Makrim’.
