CABANATUAN City -- Anti-narcotics police on Wednesday arrested five suspected drug pushers in a series of buy-busts in this city.
City police chief Lt. Col. Arnel Dial said his men, led by Capt. Diego Montes, first arrested Cherry Rose Reyes, 37, of 2nd Avenue, Bgy. Bernardo District, after she sold a sachet of shabu worth P500 to an undercover police officer.
In an operation conducted in Purok 6, Bgy. Sangitan West, Reyes yielded four plastic sachets containing shabu and the P500 marked money.
Dial said three other drug suspects were arrested in the second operation in Purok 1, Bgy. Hermogenes Concepcion Sr.
He identified them as Ryan Rosales, 21, a helper; Rhodora Sanchez, an online seller, and Randy Constantino, 48, a tricycle driver, all of Purok 5, Bgy. Padre Crisostomo, this city.
Lt. Gladish Joy Romero, city police information officer, said the three were nabbed after they sold drugs to undercover operatives. Constantino was caught in possession of two plastic sachets of shabu while Rosales and Sanchez each yielded a sachet of the illegal drugs.
In another sting, Arvinzer Vinasoy, 39, a tricycle driver of Purok 2, Bgy. H. Concepcion, was arrested in Bgy. H. Concepcion at 4:40 p.m.
