FIVE persons were killed and burned by two suspects inside their house in  Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte.

The fatalities were identified as Carlito Advincula Aban, 60; Aldrin Berdanio Aban, 20; Shannyn Cris Berdanio Aban, 17; Stephen Advincula Aban, 13 and Rosalia Navales Quirit,45 all residents of Sitio Padaun, Brgy Candiz , Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte.

Reports reaching Camp Crame showed the incident occurred at around 12:40 a.m. inside the victims’ house.

Initial investigation showed Aldrin Aban, one of the vicitms, had called his brother Tairon Aban and said that Elpidio Obiniana alia Balondong and other unidentified suspects were killing the victims and burning their house.

Tairon immediately sought help from local police.

Acting on the report, elements of the Siocon Municipal Police Station together with personnel from 1st  Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company,42nd IB Phil Army, BFP and RHU personnel headed by Dra. Mary Therese Acevedo  went to the area.

However, the team found out that the house along with the victims had already been burned.

Recovered from the crime scene are the burned  bodies of the victims, three pieces spent  cartridge  case of  caliber  .45pistol and cellular phone casing of Shannyn Aban.

Police are now looking into personal grudge as the motive behind the incident.

Authorities are now conducting a  follow-up investigation to arrest the suspects as soon as possible and put them behind bars.
