ANGELES CITY -- Six persons were arrested in anti-illegal drugs operations while two were nabbed for qualified theft in this city the other day.
Sr. Supt. Narvin Mangune, acting city police director, said the arrested persons included two suspected pushers identified as Nowl Lee Quizon, 21, of Barangay Lourdes Northwest here and Alfred Gama, 29, of Barangay Pampang.
Four sachets of shabu and the P500 marked bill used in the buy-bust operation were confiscated from Lee while Gama yielded three sachets of shabu and the marked money.
During the buy-bust operation against Gama and his cohort who was able to evade arrest, police operatives also arrested four men who were buying shabu from the suspected pushers.
They were identified as Romeo Bognot, 53; Rene Gomabon, 55; Alfred Capili, 52; and Charlie Parungao, 32.
The suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs of 2002.
In Barangay Pulung Maragul, policemen arrested Chuchay Victoria, 33, and Rina Nuqui, 44, by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Irineo Pangilinan Jr. of Regional Trial Court Branch 58 here for qualified theft under criminal case no. R-ANG-19-00205-CR with no bail recommended.
