BALANGA CITY – Of the 1,791 tested for coronavirus in Bataan, 853 of them were found negative while 857 are still waiting for results.
The report received by Gov Abet S Garcia showed that for the sixth straight day Saturday, the number of Covid-19 cases remained at 81 and more patients tested negative.
Per report of the provincial health office, the number of recoveries stays at 15 and deaths at four.
He said those who recovered were still completing 14 days of post-discharge quarantine before their final release.
Gov Garcia pointed out that since January 31 from the first patient considered as person under investigation, 1,791 have already been tested 853 were found negative and 857 still pending.
Garcia asks residents to stay at home so that the number of virus infections will no longer rise.
In Balanga public market, the daily schedule for every barangay appears effective as far as social distancing is concerned as observed by a local news paper.
Bataan is one of the provinces where the enhanced community quarantine has been extended to May 15.
