Another drug dealer jailed by Zambo City cops

ANOTHER known drug dealer in Zamboanga City was arrested by the local police in a buy-bust operation around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Police Regional Office 9 director, Brigadier General Froilan F. Quidilla said yesterday.

Suspect Jamal Hadjal, a 34-year-old college graduate residing in Baliwasan, Zamboanga City became the latest drug offender to be hauled to jail by the police while they are fully intensifying their enforcement of the Enhanced Community Quarantine in the city and other parts of Western Mindanao.

According to Quidilla, the suspect yielded seven heat-sealed plastic sachets containing around P3,700 worth of shabu and two marked P100 bills during the sting conducted by undercover officers of the Zamboanga City Police Station 9 in Purok 3-B in Barangay Recodo.

The suspect is now being held at the local police lock-up facility facing charges for sale and possession of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the official said.
