SPEAKER Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has brought to her district in Pampanga some of the most competent and qualified candidates and groups running in the coming midterm poll led by Tingog party-list first nominee Yedda Marie Romualdez to present their platforms of governance.
“I am here to give the most competent and most qualified candidates exposure to present their plans and platform of governance to enable Kapampangans to vote wisely,” said Arroyo.
Arroyo recently hosted a caucus of some Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) bets in Manibaug Paralaya Covered Court in Manibaug Paralaya, Porac, Pampanga.
She was joined by Ilocs Norte Gov. Imee Marcos who is running for the Senate, Vice Gov. Bryan Revilla who represented his father former Sen. Bong Revilla Jr., and Romualdez.
Romualdez, a Leyte congresswoman and chairperson of the House Committee on Accounts, thanked the Speaker for “inviting Tingog to present their platforms of governance to the people, including Waray residents in Pampanga.
She delivered her “malasakit” (compassionate) message to the more than 1,000 underprivileged residents at the caucus organized by Arroyo.
Her mother-in-law, the mother of former Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez, Mrs. Juliette Gomez-Romualdez, is a native of Mabalacat.
