SAN Jose City -- Two sports utility vehicles (SUVs) were discovered burglarized by suspected “Basag-Kotse Gang” members while parked unattended beside Josel Building on Friday afternoon, a belated police report said.
City police head Supt. Marco Dadez identified the robbed SUV owners as Eduardo Vendivil, 55, of Bgy. Poblacion South, Lupao, Nueva Ecija, and Timothy Manlongat, 24, of BMUF Dormitory, San Carlos, Pangasinan.
Dadez said the heist occurred at 2 p.m. in Bgy. Malasin when the victims found the windows of their vehicles forcibly broken. Damaged were Vendivil’s white Chevrolet Trailblazer (WQJ-948) and Manlongat’s beige Toyota Innova (ZJX-918).
When inspected, found stolen were Vendivil’s RCBC checkbook and passbook while Manlongat lost his mini IPad worth P8,000 and school ID.
