Bicol cops score big in anti-drug ops

AGENTS of the Police Regional Office 5 scored anew in its continuing war on drugs in the region hauling to jail at least nine known shabu trafficking personalities during separate anti-narcotics operations, PRO5 director, Brigadier General Arnel B. Escobal said yesterday.

One of the suspects identified as Alexander King Go, a 30-year old resident of Zone 3, San Francisco, Iriga City was arrested by local policemen who recovered several heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and various drug paraphernalia in his house the other day.

Another named Ronnie Ocsing,41, a resident of Zone 7, San Roque, Camaligan, Camarines sur was arrested in a buy-bust operation last Friday. Recovered from the suspect’s possession were a sachet of shabu and a marked P500 bill paid to him by a poseur.

A 3rd identified as Reden Ben Paaño, a resident of Zone 9, TESDA NApayong in Bgy. San Jose, Pili, Camarines Sur was arrested last Saturday after he sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover officer.

Another named Antonio Balilla, a 41-year old widower was arrested in a sting in Zone-Istasyon in Bgy. Agdangan, Baao, Camarines Sur last Monday. Recovered from the suspect’s possession were P500 worth of shabu.

A 5th suspect named Mark Anthony Azada,33, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in front of the Triangulo Elementary School in Bgy. Triangulo, Naga City, Camarines Sur. Seized from the suspect’s possession were a plastic sachet containing shabu and a marked P500 bill.

Another identified as Dennis Chiu,38, a businessman from Bgy. Concepcion Pequena, Naga City was arrested in another buy-bust operation which also led in the seizure of P500 worth of the so-called ‘poor man’s cocaine.’
