FOUR armed suspected drug dealers were killed in separate gunbattles while 12 were arrested by Bulacan policemen in a string of anti-narcotics operations in the province on Tuesday and yesterday, a report to Police Regional Office 3 director, Chief Superintendent Amador V. Corpus said.
The Bulacan Police Provincial Office identified the slain suspects as Buboy Mabulay, a resident of Area G, Barangay Citrus in San Jose del Monte City; Dennis Noble, of Zone 3, Bgy. San Isidro, also in the same city; Ranier Sumcad, of Malolos City and Jimmy Carating alias ‘Jumong, a resident of Sulok Bgy. Banga in Meycauayan City.
Mabulay and Noble were killed in a firefight with members of the Drug Enforcement Unit of the San Jose del Monte City Police Station headed by Supt. Orlando Castil. Two loaded caliber .38 revolvers were recovered from the possession of the two slain suspects.
On the other hand, Sumcad was shot dead in a gunbattle with members of the Malolos City Police Station DEU under Supt. Emery Abating. Recovered from the slain suspect’s possession were one cal. .38 revolver with four live ammunition and one spent cartridge, three heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the marked money he received from the poseur.
The suspect’s unidentified companion managed to escape on board a motorcycle and is still being hunted as of press time, said the Bulacan PPO.
