AGENTS of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office on Wednesday hauled to jail 37 most wanted persons in the province including a man included in the national most wanted list, a report to Police Regional Office 3 director, Brigadier General Rhodel O. Sermonia said yesterday.

Bulacan police director, Colonel Lawrence B. Cajipe said that the arrests were made in line with their ongoing effort to account for more wanted personalities hiding in the province specifically those who are covered by warrants of arrest for various offenses.

Cajipe said that one of those arrested was Renato Marasigan alias ‘Junior,’ a man wanted for murder, frustrated murder and attempted homicide with no bail recommended.

The suspect is included in the most wanted list of the Philippine National Police Directorate for Intelligence, he said.

The official said that the suspect was tracked down in his hiding place in Barangay Libertad, Butuan City by combined operatives of the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Butuan City Police Station, Police Regional Office 3, the Naval Intelligence Security Group and the Bulacan PPO’s Provincial Intelligence Branch following a tip from an informant.
