TANZA, Cavite -- The provincial government of Cavite led by Gov. Jesus Crispin ‘Boying’ Remulla, in coordination with the municipality of Tanza, recently spearheaded the launching of the Cavite Computer Center Satellite Office at Tanza Business Center, located at Public Market compound in Daang Amaya 1 aimed at sustaining the government’s continuing education program and be part in pursuing the work from home project.
Governor Remulla stressed that Tanza was chosen to be the venue for the satellite office being the fastest growing municipality in the province.
Mayor Yuri A. Pacumio acknowledged and thanked the governor, together with Provincial Information and Communication Technology Office Chief Camille del Rosario, for exerting all their efforts to put up a satellite office in the town.
He said CCC will be of great help to his constituents primarily the barangay officials who want to learn or enhance their computer skills. From 2010-2017, CCC had a total of 17,429 trainees.
It was recorded that from January to September 2018, CCC specially in Imus campus, has produced 540 graduates comprised of 40% out-of-school youth and 70% senior citizens. Regular students are composed of employees in government and private entities in which 30% are teachers.
The success of CCC was brought about by dedication and commitment of the organization in offering quality and significant free computer training.
During the event, Governor Remulla was joined by former Gov. Juanito ‘Jonvic’ Remulla Jr., Board Member Raymundo del Rosario, Indang Councilor Crispin Diego “Ping” Remulla, Sanggunian Bayan Members Icel del Rosario-Morales, Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development Office Head Alvin Mojica, and Association of Barangay Chairmen Federation President Simon “SM” Matro.
Also present were DepEd principals and teachers, provincial and municipal department heads, employees and CCC staff.
