CDC inspects Clark firms allowed to operate

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga -- Health and Sanitation Division (HSD) of Clark Development Corporation (CDC) is conducting inspection on various establishments that are allowed to continue operations as the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) remains in effect.

CDC Communications Division Manager Noel Tulabut said a total of 38 firms have been visited by personnel from HSD.

“They monitor compliances with health protocols such as social distancing, use of face masks and other sanitation procedures,” Tulabut shared.
Assuring the public on the availability of basic commodities and essentials amidst the ECQ, CDC allowed the operations of selected vital

establishments in the Freeport such as groceries, hospitals, drugstores, petrol stations, banks, food establishments and convenience stores.
CDC, however clarified that these establishments may opt to operate on limited business hours, depending on their manpower.

“We will continue to inspect these establishments throughout the course of the ECQ to make sure that the guidelines we and the national government set are being adhered to,” Tulabut added.

Meanwhile, the state-owned firm also expressed its appreciation and gratitude to its front liners who continue to report to work even if there is the threat of coronavirus disease.

These include personnel from HSD, Public Safety Division, Engineering, Transportation, and Trade Facilitation Division.
