Chopper crash delays 356 narco cops’ adjudication

THE  adjudication processes of the 356 policemen who are included in the narco list of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte was interrupted due to the chopper crash in Laguna.

According to PNP Chief General Archie Gamboa, the result of the adjudication process should be submitted to the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año on Friday but because of the chopper crash incident, the submission was delayed.

Because of the accident, the submission of the result would be delayed for at least two weeks.

Supposedly, Gamboa, together with the Deputy Chief of Administration Lt Gen Camilo Cascolan and Directorate for Intelligence Chief Major General Mariel Magaway will be handing the results but due to the chopper crash incident, the process was left undone.

Magaway was wounded in the chopper crash and was still under intensive care in a hospital in Laguna.

The adjudication process will determine who and how many police were proven part of the illegal drug transaction.

One of those who are on the list is Lt Col Jovie Espenido, known as the poster boy of Duterte Administration’s drug war.
