Couple yields P3.4M shabu

A SUSPECTED big-time drug trafficker and his female partner in Cavite are now in jail after they conspired to sell an estimated 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million to an undercover officer of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in a parking lot of a mall in Dasmariñas City in Cavite last week, PDEA chair, Director General Aaron N. Aquino announced yesterday.

Suspects Ramil Sigalat and Teresita Dalisay yielded the drugs and the marked money during the entrapment operation in the mall’s parking lot in Barangay Salitran Dos in Dasmariñas City, said the PDEA chair.

Aquino said that the two are now facing non-bailable charges for sale and possession of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

In Dagupan City in Pangasinan, PDEA Region 1 officers arrested Troy Darrel Aquino during a sting which led in the confiscation of some P360,000 worth of dried marijuana leaves.

The entrapment operation was conducted in Bgy. Lucao in Dagupan City.

Alfred Dalizon Recovered from the suspect’s possession were a backpack containing the dried marijuana leaves, a mobile phone and the buy-bust money . His vehicle was also impounded by the PDEA, said Aquino.
