COVID patient, 2 PUIs die in Quezon

LUCENA CITY--- A confirmed carrier of coronavirus desease (CIVID-19) and two other patients suspected to have infected by the virus have died in Quezon province.

In its 10 a.m. bulletin, the Quezon Public Information Office (QPIO) announced that the death of COVID-19 carrier was recorded in San Antonio town.

But the QPIO did not provide other details on the death of 2 suspected virus carriers.

The rapid increase of COVID-19 cases in the province continue despite the effort being exerted by the local government units.

So far, Quezon has 568 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 248 recoveries and 20 deaths.

As to the suspected cases, the province, at present, has 3,759 but of the figures, 1,748 have been discharged, 1,612 have been cleared after completing home quarantine, 214 are still on home quarantine, 84 have died while 101 are still confined in different medical facilities.
