CABANATUAN CITY -- A dead fetus on Tuesday was found dumped in an irrigation canal in this city.

Police head Lt. Col. Arnel Dial said they got a call from chief tanod Reynaldo Sumpatan, informing them that he found the fetus while cleaning the irrigation canal at Sitio Boundary in Bgy. Caalibangbangan at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

Dial said they are now investigating who dumped the dead fetus in the irrigation canal.  The fetus was turned over to the Loida Funeral Homes for proper disposition.
