THE Department of Health (DOH) Regional IVA director yesterday announced that from the region’s previous 19 confirmed coronovirus 2019 or COVID-19 cases, it went up to 50.
According to the DOH, the breakdown is as follows:
Cavite -- 13
Bacoor -- 3 with one death
Dasmarinas , Imus -- one recovery
Naic – 2
Gen, Trias, Silangm Tanza, Rosario -- 1 each
municipal city for validation -- 1
Meanwhile, Batangas has eight confirmed cases -- 4 in Batangas City (one death and one recovery), one each in Lemery, Lipa, Tanauan and Nasugbu.
Rizal province has 21 cases: Antipolo – 6; Cainta -- 11 with 3 deaths and one recovery; Taytay -- 3 and San Mateo -- 1.
Quezon and Lucena have 3 each and Sariaya one.
Meanwhile, the Laguna Health Provincial Office has confirmed eight confirmed cases of COVID-19,
Sta. Rosa confirmed another case after five cases were reported last week.
The new case is a 58-year-old woman residing in Las Villas de Manila in Bgy. San Francisco.
This prompted the local city administration to order the lockdown of the subdivision’s secondary gate and immediate disinfection in the area.
Local officials here said two more Covid-19 patients from Sta. Rosa City are now confined at a private hospital in Biñan City.
Local health workers are now conducting contact-tracing.
The one-person policy in buying food in each household is gradually being imposed in the province.
