CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Philippine National Police directorial staff chief Major General Guillermo Eleazar joined Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia in inspecting the control points for COVID-19 quarantine on Meycauayan-Valenzuela boundary, Bocaue toll plaza and Fields Avenue in Angeles City yesterday
Eleazar said he wanted to see for himself if proper guidelines are being observed by police personnel in the field to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Sermonia said the Central Luzon police will intensify its implementation of the enhanced community quarantine, as he appeals for public support and unity against the deadly virus.
Sermonia added that police personnel with protective masks and thermal scanner guns have been manning 24/7 round-the-clock checkpoint operations in all boundaries and borders of each province across the region.
The PRO3 director has been inspecting places of public convergence on a daily basis to check if the guidelines set forth by the government are strictly observed by the public.
