Female drug pusher falls in Lucena amid ECQ implementation

LUCENA CITY —Despite its intensified campaign against violators of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) rule, the city police's drive against fake drugs continues.

The latest accomplishment of the city police force on its fake drug campaign was the arrest of a suspected notorious female drug pusher and the seizure of illegal drugs during a police sting at Purok Paraiso, Bgy. Ibabang Iyam, this morning.

City police chief, Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea identified the suspect as Lyka Armiendo, 34,  jobless and resident of said place.

He said Armiendo is included in the Street Level Individuals (SLI) list of the city police.

The suspect was arrested during the drug bust by joint elements of the City and Provincial Drug Enforcement Units after she was caught red- handed with the marked money.

He said the lawmen seized around 1.7 grams of suspected shabu with estimated DDB value of P11,560.

The suspect was placed behind bars and will be charged with violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
