TWO suspected big-time female drug dealers in Zamboanga City were arrested by the local police after they conspired to sell an estimated P3.5 million worth of shabu to an undercover officer, Police Regional Office 9 director, Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Luis D. Licup said yesterday.

The suspects were identified as Erun Asi Hassam alias’ Haji Erun, 62, and Atong Bajad Ladjahasan, a 64-year old widow, both residents of Arquiza Drive in Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga City.

Licup said that the two suspects were arrested during an entrapment operation near their residence conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday by combined operatives of the Zamboanga City Police Office, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Philippine Air Force.

Seized from the possession of the two were 12 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing the multi-million worth of the so-called ‘poor man’s cocaine,’ the P100,000 worth of boodle money topped by a marked P1,000 bill and 10 marked P100 bills as well as a weighing scale.
