THE 32-year-old nephew of former Speaker Prospero Nograles, who graduated from the prestigious Harvard Law School,  decided to offer legal services to poor residents of Rizal province.

Fidel Nograles, who worked in a law firm and was appointed as court attorney at the office of former Supreme Court Associate Justice Martin Villarama Jr., said he is willing to assist impoverished residents of Montalban and San Mateo in Rizal.

He earned a Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo de Manila University.

When he became an assistant provincial administrator in Rizal, Nograles saw the true state of poor Filipinos.

“Aside from those who go to me every day for legal assistance, we go to different barangays and build legal clinics where anyone can consult to us free of charge any time,” Nograles said.

“Bukod sa mga nagpupunta sa akin araw-araw para sa legal assistance, kami na mismo ang nag- tungo sa iba’t ibang barangay at nagtayo ng mga legal clinics kung saan maaaring magkonsulta ang sinuman ng libre anumang oras,” he said.
