CAMP Gen. Miguel Malvar, Batangas -- Police the other day nabbed a man charged with homicide in Batangas while hiding in Bgy. Poblacion, Mariveles, Bataan, provincial police PIO chief Senior Insp. Kerwin Amor Umali Cabrales said.
A report to Batangas police director Senior Supt. Edwin Aguilan Quilates by San Nicolas police chief Senior Insp. Emiliano M. Camama identified the suspect as Floro Pajanustan Nebrija, alias Peter, of legal age, of Bancoro, San Nicolas, Batangas.
According to Camama, the San Nicolas police conducted an operation against the suspect and coordinated with Mariveles MPS in Bataan and Police Regional Office 3 (PRO 3). He was arrested for violation of PD 1602 by virtue of a warrant for homicide under Criminal Case No. 20-2013 issued by Judge Juanita G. Areta, of Fourth Judicial of the Regional Trial Court Branch 86 in Taal, Batangas, dated November 26, 2013.
Camama said the suspect is listed number 4 in Lambat-Sibat, Phase 4, municipal level.
Upon his arrest, the accused was apprised of his constitutional rights before he was brought to San Nicolas MPS for investigation and proper disposition.
Based on police record, on Nov. 15, 2012, the suspect was detained at the San Nicolas custodial facility for stabbing Cipriano Caraan Bilog several times in Bgy. Alas-as, San Nicolas, that resulted in his instantaneous death.
