BATAAN CAPITOL- This lucky province was flooded with dressed-chicken, following the almost simultaneous donation from friendly firms of relief to the Bataeños.
Owing to this, Gov Abet S Garcia expressed gratitude yesterday to the Ignacio family for donating 30,000 kilos of dressed-chicken to the province.
“Marami pong salamat sa Seafront Shipyard and Marine Services Corporation sa pagbibigay ng 30,000 kilo ng manok na ipinamahagi sa 11 bayan at isang lungsod sa ating lalawigan,” said Gov Garcia.
Seafront Shipyard is owned and operated by Virgilio Ignacio and his family, known for their being philantrophists due to their active participation in helping the poor in Bataan for quite a long time.
The Ignacio family had also constructed churches worth tens of millions of pesos and donated these to a number of barangay in Bataan, the first and maybe the last family to initiate such laudable religious projects here.
Aside from Seafront that is based in Lucanin, Mariveles town, Mayor Jopet Inton also thanked Bountry Fresh Food in Hermosa town for also donating 10,000 kilos of chicken in the town a few days ago.
In a related relief development, Gov Garcia also expressed gratitude to a number of businessmen who had also shared their blessings to the people of Bataan.
