Minor drug courier falls

A MINOR drug courier was arrested by operatives of Drug Enforcement Unit of Laguna Police Provincial Office while in possession of P100,000 worth of suspected shabu while a high value individual pusher escaped in an anti drug operation in Lumban,Laguna.

​Laguna Police Provincial Director PCol.  Serafin Petalio II, in his report submitted to CALABARZON Regional Director PBGen.  Vicente Danao Jr., identified the suspected pusher as Jonathan David, of Manambit St. Bgy. Maytalang Uno, Lumban, Laguna.

The minor suspect was under the custody of DSWD who was used by the suspect during the buy bust operation at around 12:30 in the morning.

David said he was listed a High Value Individual in Lumban town.

The Provincial Intelligence Unit/Drug Enforcement of Laguna PPO together with Lumban Municipal Police Station and PDEA 4A conducted the operation at Bgy. Maytalang Uno, which resulted in the apprehension of the minor suspect used as a courier of illegal drugs.

​Petalio said David alias “Sadam” has managed to elude before the arrest on board a single motorcycle without plate number.

Police seized from the minor were six pieces of sachets containing suspected shabu, more or less 14.79 grams with an estimated value of P100,000. a green-colored rectangular shape coin purse, and three one hundred peso suspected drug money bills.

Also, recovered ware P1000 and one five P500buy-bust money.

The arrested suspect and confiscated evidence were brought to Lumban Municipal Police Station for custody and proper disposition.
