CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- A notorious and elusive suspected robber with five standing warrants of arrest finally fell into the hands of the law the other day in Porac town in this province.
Chief Supt. Joel Napoleon Coronel, acting Police Regional Office 3 director, identified the suspect as Lenin De Guzman alias “Pungay”, 33.
De Guzman was arrested by the police who were armed with two alias warrants of arrest issued by Judge Irin Zenaida Buan of Angeles City Regional Trial Court Branch 56, under criminal cases R-ANG-15-02437-CR and R-ANG-15-02259-CR for robbery with force upon things.
The policemen also served the three warrants of arrest issued by Judge Irineo Pangilinan Jr. of RTC Branch 58 here docketed under criminal cases R-ANG-16-03376-CR, R-ANG-15-03376-CR and R-ANG-15-03377-CR for robbery with force upon things.
Coronel said a manhunt operation jointly conducted by the Angeles City police, Magalang police and Porac police against the suspect led to his arrest at the Fiesta Community in Manibaug Paralaya, Porac.
“Continuous manhunt operations against wanted persons are being carried out while the entire Central Luzon police force is maximizing its anti-criminality efforts to attain its quest for a safer place to live, work and do business,” Coronel said.
