ANGELES CITY – Anti-narcotics operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDE3) and local police seized party drugs and other dangerous drugs that also resulted to the arrest of eight persons in a sting operation in front of a four-star hotel in Barangay Malabanias in this city late night last June 29.
In a report submitted to PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, PDEA3 Director Gil Pabilona identified the suspects as Bernice Fabiosa, 21, female; Ma. Isabel Lawas, 19, female; Aileen Baldon, 23, female; Jamie Mendoza, 20, female; Jessa Scott, 19, female; Bernadeth Saavedra, 19, female; Sean Moreno, 42, male; and Gregorio Imperial, 26, male, all residents of Angeles City.
Seized from the suspects are 310 tablets of party drugs known as ecstasy; five pieces Dimethyl Tripticase (DMT); one screw cup plastic bottle containing 100 pieces of valium; three self-sealing plastic containing suspected kush or hybrid marijuana; one self-sealing plastic containing more or less 0.75 gram of cocaine; and one weighing scale with combined estimated street value of P1 million.
According to PDEA3, Fabiosa and her cohorts are one of the major suppliers of party drugs and valium (classified as a downer type of drug) in Angeles City.
“One of our operatives who acted as poseur buyer secured a drug deal with Fabiosa and her partners for the sale of Dimethyl tripticase (a party drug classified as hallucigens) for the amount of P200,000 and agreed to meet in front of a hotel until they were collared by PDEA agents,” Pabilona said.
“The arrest of the suspects was the fruit of our month long casing and surveillance following a report from a confidential informant that distribution of party drugs and various types of dangerous drugs are rampant in the area,” Pabilona added.
