The provincial government here continues to receive donations from private companies and individuals for its front liners and poor residents.

Last Monday, Gov. Dennis Pineda received 600 cavans of rice from San Miguel Foundation.

Pineda said the said donation will be used as supplement to the “Bigas para sa Mahirap” program that he initiated to help the vulnerable sectors and other less fortunate Kapampangans during the enforcement of the Enhanced Community Quarantine.

“Asahan po ninyo na makakarating ang mga ito sa ating mga kababayan na ang buhay ay maituturing na ‘isang kahig, isang tuka’, gaya ng mga minimum wage earners, ‘no work, no pay’ at displaced workers, solo parents, at transport groups,” the governor said.
