CAMP Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet -- Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PRO-COR) director Chief Supt. Rolando Z. Nana announced yesterday the arrest of six most wanted persons and 19 others in various parts of Cordillera during the first week of the month.
The no. 9 most wanted person in Baguio City for robbery with force upon things, identified as Eugene Copias Bacani, a.k.a. “Eugene Lupian Bacani Jr.”, 18, was captured in Bgy. Poro, San Fernando, La Union on Oct. 1, 2018 with a recommended bail of P60,000.
In Tabuk City, two most wanted persons, city level were locked-up in jail. Ver Dangpason Wandagan, 18, the no. 5 TMWP for rape, was arrested at Sitio Backong, Barangay Pangol, Tanudan, Kalinga on the night of Oct. 3 while Marson Gunaban Ducayag, 27, the no. 7 TMWP for acts of lasciviousness was arrested at Bacras, Bulanao, Tabuk City on Oct. 1.
Acting Presiding Judge Nicanor S. Pascual, RTC Branch 25, 2nd Judicial Region Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga recommended P180,000 bail for Ducayag but no bail for Wandagan.
Three TMWP municipal level were also captured in Abra and Benguet. Erasmo Dela Paz Barroga, 58, the no. 5 most wanted in Bucay, Abra was arrested on Oct. 3 for incestuous rape with no bail recommended and rape by sexual assault with a recommended bail of P400,000.
In La Trinidad, Benguet, arrested for child abuse were Rodrigo Manzon Gabriel, 52, and Nick Malipat Padsing, 38, on Oct. 4 and Oct. 2, respectively, with a recommended bail of P160,000 for Gabriel and recommended bail bond of P80,000 for Padsing.
