LUCENA CITY -- The intensified campaign of Quezon Police Provincial Office against wanted persons continues to gain positive results with the arrest of two most wanted felons in separate towns in Quezon province.
Quezon police director, Senior Supt. Osmundo de Guzman identified the arrested duo as Martin Moralida Mabong, Jr., alias Toto Moralidad, 23, of Bgy. Bucal, Sariaya, Quezon; and Jayson Hardinan De Guzman, 31, of Bgy. Rizal, Padre Burgos, Quezon.
De Guzman said Mabong has been charged with murder of a boy in Tondo, Manila along with three others aside from being a suspect in a hold-up of a rookie cop which both happened sometime in 2015 and ranked number 2 on the list of Manila Police District PS1’s Most Wanted Persons.
Armed with an arrest order, De Guzman said Mabong was collared by the combined teams of SPO4 Roilan Algire , chief of the warrant section of Sariaya police station under Supt. Rafael Torres, and warrant officers of Manila Police District PS1 at Sitio Biringuela, Bgy. Bucal, Sariaya, Quezon where the suspect has been hiding with his wife who is a native of Tondo, Manila.
Torres said the assistance extended by the village officials was contributed to the arrest of Mabong who has been hiding for almost three years.
Suspect De Guzman, on the other hand, was arrested at Bgy. Rizal, Padre Burgos, Quezon by joint elements of Pagbilao police station under Chief Insp. Francisco Panisan, 1st Quezon Provincial Mobile Force Company, PNP-Regional Intelligence Unit, Provincial Intelligence Branch and Padre Burgos police station.
