SAF instructor electrocuted at training site

AN assistant instructor of the Special Action Force Training School (SAFTS) on Wednesday was electrocuted at the training grounds in Calatagan, Batangas.

Calatagan Municipal Police Station chief Maj. Randy Oliquino identified the victim as PSSg Adonis Licaycay.

Patrolman Christian Guillermo said he saw Licaycay unconscious and with burn wounds on SAFTS Annex Training Ground in Bgy. Baha,  Calatagan around 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Guillermo also noticed an electrical wire near the victim.

The duty officer tried to wake up  Licaycay, who did not respond. 

He immediately sought the help of the  personnel of the training unit.

Lt. Renato Netorada  Jr. tried to revive Licaycay before he was rushed to to the Medical Center Western Batangas.

He was declared dead upon arrival.
