GENERAL Mariano Alvarez, Cavite -- An alleged member of the “Sarimos Crime Group” was nabbed during implementation of a search warrant during simultaneous anti-criminality and law enforcement operations (SACLEO) here, on Thursday.
Chief Insp. Romulo Co dela Rea, acting GMA police chief, identified the suspect as Jayson Perez Sarimos, with aliases Bujie, Pablito Perez Sarimos, 32, single, businessman, of Pasong Saging, Bgy. Delas Alas, GMA, who was arrested by virtue of a search warrant for violation of RA 10591 issued by Judge Agripino Morga of RTC Branch 32 of San Pablo City, and the confiscation of a cal. .45 pistol (SN 1348194) with two magazines, 14 live ammunition for cal. 45.
Investigators said the suspect is a member of Sarimos Drug Group and engaged in selling of illegal drugs and gun for hire activities. The group is based in Bgy. Paliparan 1, Dasmariñas City and their source of illegal drugs is from Datu Esmael.
The group operates in neighboring towns and cities in Cavite.
Further, the suspect was allegedly involved in the killing of a certain Alan Rotor Igana, a meat dealer of GMA Cavite public market, in September 2017.
The police operation was done in coordination with barangay officials in the area, Cavite PPO, Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) under Supt. Agosto Daskeo.
The suspect was detained at GMA detention cell in town proper.
